Some journeys are best shared

Intimate safaris built for two — Kenya's finest wilderness, at your own pace.

For Couples

You should never have to share the moment with anyone else.

Kenya offers something most honeymoon destinations cannot: genuine wildness. Not a resort with wildlife nearby — a landscape where the wildlife defines everything.

Two people sitting in silence at dawn, watching a herd of elephants cross the plain, will remember it for the rest of their lives.

A couples safari with Inside Kenya Safaris is not a package. It is an itinerary built around when you want to travel, which landscapes move you, how you like to spend your days, and the kind of lodges that match your idea of exceptional. Every detail is considered before you arrive.

Questions couples ask us

Answers before you reach out

July to October (dry season, peak wildlife, the Great Migration) and January to February (fewer crowds, good value) are most popular with couples. The right time depends on what you most want to see — we advise on timing based on your interests and which destinations you are considering.

Yes. Every couples safari uses a private vehicle exclusively throughout. You will never share a game drive with other guests. Your vehicle, your guide, your schedule — from the first drive to the last.

Most properties can arrange private bush dinners, anniversary setups, champagne on arrival, and room dressing. Tell us what you are marking and we will ensure lodges know well in advance — these things are most memorable when properly planned.

Short internal flights — typically 45 to 90 minutes. We arrange all transfers and include them in the itinerary. Flights are on reliable Kenyan operators we work with consistently. Ground transfers to and from airstrips are included throughout.

Kenya's main safari destinations are well-established and safe for international visitors. We brief all guests on practical safety before travel, and remain available throughout your trip. The areas where we operate — the Mara, Amboseli, Laikipia, Samburu, Lamu — have strong records for visitor safety.

Reach out with your rough dates and a sense of what draws you to Kenya. We will come back with an initial itinerary suggestion — no commitment required. Most couples find that one or two conversations are enough to arrive at something that feels exactly right.
