Kenya, Tanzania & Zanzibar
This safari is yet another safari suitable for a repeat safari enthusiast. The Safari visits Kenya’s southern neighbor – Tanzania and its idyllic tropical paradise of Zanzibar. Kenya and Tanzania are not only neighbors but share certain interesting factors – first amongst which is the Swahili language; the annual wildebeest migration between Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve and Tanzania UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site of Serengeti National Park is a shared natural heritage; not to mention Kenya and Tanzania being the birthplace of “safari” – described as an expedition to observe wildlife in their natural habitat.
In this safari the visitor gets the opportunity to experience the Ngorongoro Crater – a true wonder of the natural world – now also a UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site; the Lake Manyara National Park on the floor of the Great Rift Valley Escarpment made famous by its tree-climbing lions; and the Tarangire National Park where its huge herds of elephant rival the park’s gigantic baobab trees; before concluding in Zanzibar’s historic Stone Town – one of Eastern Africa’s foremost UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site. This safari gives a visitor a more complete picture of this part of Africa.
