Friends Of Alex & Ilturisho School Safari

This safari is a favorite for first-time visitors to Kenya. Escorted by Inside Kenya Safaris’ founder Alex King’oo, the safari visits the Masai Mara Game Reserve, perhaps the best game viewing wildlife reserve in the world; the Lake Nakuru National Park – an ornithological paradise; the Ol Pejeta Conservancy – the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa; and finally the Shaba Game Reserve in Kenya’s arid northern frontier – once home to the famous lioness from the ‘Born Free’ novel.

This is a small group safari that operates all year round, and whose foremost highlight is a visit to Ilturisho Primary School, located just outside the Masai Mara Game Reserve, and which receives support from the First Presbyterian Church of Kearney, Nebraska and Southminster Presbyterian Church, Taylor, Michigan, amongst many more local and international visitors to this world-famous wildlife reserve.
